She is known for her improv. and comedy skills and is a talented comedy writer and performer with a wealth of character voices and accents.

My Voice Experience

An experienced theatre and television actress, Mandy has voiced many projects including characters for CD Rom games including a variety of lapdancers for 'Private Dancer', a giant Russian ice slug for 'Spartacus' and many others! She has voiced many commercials including Lenor, Boots, Kodak, Cotton, Harp Lager and recently recreated the voice of the Queen Mother for a BBC television documentary; Her Reign in Colour. Her range is broad, from young and light, sexy and resonant to professional and reasssuring, but she is also happy to play old and decrepit! A wide variety of accents including Irish, Scottish, Dorset, Cornish, Manchester, Yorkshire, French, Italian, Spanish, German, Polish and Russian as well as flawless mid-Atlantic.

My Training

Mandy trained as an actor at the Guildhall in London for three years and her many theatre credits include the leading role of Alice in the original cast of Closer by Patrick Marber at the Royal National Theatre, which transferred to the West End, Therese in Therese Raquin, Leah in My Sister in this House and Cordelia in King Lear. She works extensively as an actor and voiceover in radio drama, commercials, TV and film and has voiced hundreds of projects over the years.

Additional Skills

A talented and original comedy perfomer, she is skilled at improvising and writing, particularly character-based comedy and her radio show 'Chigbury Sound' will soon be available as a podcast. She writes and performs her own sketches for British TV's Gagging for It and the Craig & Wolfe show and has just completed writing her first sketch-com 'Close to You'.
